Real-world application of ‘XYZ’

A simple request is to ask for a STEM Ambassador to illustrate a real-world link to a curriculum topic.

They could talk about their job or bring in an object or pictures from their work.

For example STEM Ambassadors could:

1. ‘Show how geometry is used to design buildings’
2. ‘Illustrate what technology is being used to reduce carbon emissions’
3. ‘Explain how Chemical Reactions are scaled up to industrial proportions’
4. ‘Talk about how real-life scientists work scientifically to explore new ideas’
