Location: Harrington Nature Reserve, Siddick Ponds or some activities can be run at school.

Workington Nature Partnership provides a great opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to get involved.  They offer free sessions at Harrington Nature Reserve and Siddick Ponds:

• Pond dipping
• Bug hunting
• Making mini beast hotels
• Litter picks
• Beach cleans
• Pond, meadow and woodland exploring
• Forest schools

Plus, many more… they can cover whichever topics you are covering in science (living things/habitats etc) or do other activities or subjects outside, for example, in the past they have done all kinds from building Viking homes in the woods to the 3 Little Pigs with nursery children.
