Scott Findlay is the creative founder of The Ambitious Plonker Book Club, which is the foundations to what will be a series of books for both children and adults to read and take inspiration from. Not only is he a children’s author, but he is also on a journey to reach out, and inspire as many people as possible to live their best life, hence the statement, becoming an ambitious plonker. So, what is an ambitious plonker? This is someone that is always striving towards their dreams, whiles not forgetting to have some fun along the way. If you choose to have Scott visit either your school or event, rest assured he will bring not only meaningful value to the sessions, but also plenty of fun entertainment. Each session can be tailored to the needs of the children. Some examples of what to expect are
• An assembly introduction about Scott and his journey
• Classroom sessions, where Scott can introduce and read one of his books to the children
• Talking sessions on the importance of reading books and what it’s like to be creative
• Q&A session on what it’s like to be an author and create books
• Starter story and character creator workshop
• Fun classroom games
• Dinner hour games in the playground, where Scott will emphasize on having fun
• A step by step session on how Scott created and published his first book (suited more towards year 5/6 students)
