Last Monday, we held a “Scaffold the World” Workshop at Seascale Primary School for 30 students in Year 3 & 4, supported by Kaefer and Frank Portlock. The workshop aimed to build key skills like communication, problem-solving, and resilience, all while learning about the ozone layer and our planet.
“Thank you very much again for a fantastic workshop. The children (and teachers!) all absolutely loved it and had a brilliant time, they were all still talking about it today! The workshop helped the children to develop essential communication skills needed throughout their lives and in future jobs. It was lovely to see all of the children using and applying these skills, along with problem-solving and resilience, particularly in a real-life context. This was explained clearly and all children were fully engaged. The workshop also linked really well to our DT topic of ‘Structures and pavilions’. Thank you very much again!” Gemma Finlay Teacher at Seascale School
