Inspire primary school children by sharing your story on World Book Day

The PBP are looking for volunteers to:

• Answer some questions on a short video clip on their phone, which we can package together.
• Answer some questions that we can compile on a career card to share with the children.

Guide to some of the questions:

Introduce yourself

Maybe read a bit of your book if relevant and appropriate

What do you do?

What did you want to do when you were young?

If local what primary school did you go to?

Describe your typical day?

What skills or qualities do you need to do your job?

What was your career path?

What is the coolest part of your job?

If you could be an animal what would it be?

What other jobs have you had?

Who inspired/inspires you?

What advice would you give your 10 yr old self

• If you’ve got a video clip then we can discuss the best way to share.
• Send over your answers to the questions and we’ll create the career card.

We then hope to share these career cards and videos with the children around World Book Day 2021 along with a competition we are running.
