Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service
New to book starting this week, Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service are offering a number of free sessions for schools in Cumbria one including a talk about road safety. To find out more and book a session contact rebecca.day@pbp.org.uk
Valley Primary School in Whitehaven had a visit last week which included dressing up, inspecting a fire engine and learning about fire safety.
Active Cumbria
Help raise awareness and your school could receive a FREE goodie bag. Active Cumbria are inviting schools to take part in an Autumn Term ‘Get Active Day’ and Be Bright, Be Seen on any day during Road Safety Week. Children can get involved by
*Wear Bright Clothing during their walk to school
*Decorate their school bags with bright colours
*Decorate their bike or scooter
Schools that particpate, who send in 2-3 photos will recieve a free goodie bag from Active Travel Team, email mandy.bailey@cumbria.gov.uk to register to take part.
