British Science week – 5 th to 14 th March 2021
The PBP are looking for volunteers to take part in pre-recorded (or live -if possible) Q & A workshops with questions from local primary school children in Copeland and Allerdale over British Science week.
If you are interested in volunteering please…….
- Write a short paragraph explaining who you are and what you do in your job (see attached biog sheet as an example).
- Send Claire.johnson@pbp.org.uk your paragraph along with your company logo and a photo of yourself by 12th February 2021.
- Optional – do you have a short STEM related activity that children could do at home during British science week? If so, please let us know and we share via our website and social media.
PBP will prepare the Biog and question template sheets (attached) and send it to schools, giving them an opportunity to discuss STEM jobs with the children and come up with some questions. Each school will send in a few questions for each volunteer.
The children’s questions will be sent out to all volunteers by 26th February 2021. We plan to do pre-records during the week commencing the 1st March 2021 ready for British Science week.
