Welcome back to our Aspiration session – helping children in our area
Dream BIG.

Last week saw us pilot an adaptation of our much loved face to
face Aspiration session online. With the use of MS Teams we were able to
visit Allonby Primary School with volunteers, Olivia Atkinson,
an optometrist at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Tiani Demetriou, an
Electrical Designer at Jacobs and Jade Wilding a vet who joined us via a
pre-recorded video insert. Our volunteers shared their career stories and
then answered questions from the children about their roles and how they
got to where they are today. Nothing beats going into the classroom and
seeing the children however in times like these, yesterday came close!
