On Thursday 30th November Claire was joined by Terry Harvey-Chadwick from Moorforge Viking settlement, Heidi Clements from The Centre for Leadership Performance, and Kimberley Robson from Cyclife. The children heard all about the opportunities on their doorstep, from being a science Viking, Operations Manager, and Waste Management Consultant. Thanks to all the volunteers for helping the children at Thornhill Primary School to Dream Big about their futures.
Claire Murray, Y5/6 teacher at Thornhill Primary, said:
“I truly believe it is very important that all the children know the vast array of careers available. Only then can they understand how working hard at school links to achieving their dream job. My pupils all enjoyed the Dream Big session.”
This Dream Big session was organized by Primary Business Partnership, delivered by the Centre for Leadership Performance Cumbria, generously funded by OneAIM JV, and Sellafield Ltd SiX.
