We remain flexible in our approach and are here to support businesses of all shapes and sizes. There are lots of programmes and activities delivered by PBP & CforLP that count towards Gold, Silver & Bronze Partnerships, here are a few listed below: 

  • SkillsBlox Essential Skills Programme & training supporting one school over one year with an activity for each year group
  • Bright Stars Programme (which incorporates essential skills and nurtures enterprise and leadership) (costs involved)
  • Contract to Cube-it linking to Maths and STEAM
  • Cumbria Traders linking to Maths and STEAM
  • Scientific Insights – how to bring your own love of STEAM tor own session to life

*Some programmes of CforLP may require additional sponsorship

In addition, we encourage partners to use:

  1. Use our PBP video at your graduate/ apprenticeship inductions and encourage more employees to sign up to support the programme
  2. Use the media pack and promote your partnership to the PBP and promote your involvement on your own website / social channels
  3. Use the media pack to write a minimum of 1 x case study about your companies involvement with PBP and delivery of sessions within your local primary schools to be shared with PBP
  4. Volunteering opportunities with wider CforLP activities

List of Activities (this is not exclusive) that count towards Partnership activities:

  • Deliver Career Talks/Skills/SkillsBlox sessions
  • Deliver STEAM workshops
  • Support school careers weeks
  • Become a face-to-face reading champion
  • Become a primary school alumni role model – going back to your local school and sharing your study/career pathways
  • Support collaborative School Cluster events with a workshop activity
  • Deliver your own workshop (support from PBP team to ensure it aligns to curriculum will be provided)
  • Offer a workplace visit
  • Set up an afterschool STEAM club and run over 6-week period
  • Bright Stars
