What roles are there within the Food and Beverage Service Industry?
Restaurant Manager – is in control of the whole restaurant and takes the bookings for tables, manages the rota’s, arranges staff training, deals with complaints and generally ensures that the restaurant runs smoothly.
Head waiter – meets and greets the customers and shows them to their tables, deals with any complaints
Waiter – responsible for taking the orders, serving the customers, clearing the tables and keeping the clients happy.
